4 Biblical ways to hear the Voice of GOD today.

4 Biblical ways to hear the Voice of GOD today.

In the quietness of the night, I have often heard the still voice of God whispering my name. Sometimes He will point me to a Scripture to rebuke me of my unconfessed sins or comfort me about a hurtful incident. I prefer to do the talking most times, but the Lord wants me to hush so that I can be obedient to His command. I listen carefully to what God the LORD is saying, for he speaks peace to his faithful people. Psalm 85:8,NLT Young Samuel recognized the voice of God calling unto Him in the middle of the

HOW TO BREAK FREE FROM GENERATIONAL PATTERNS and STRONGHOLDS

HOW TO BREAK FREE FROM GENERATIONAL PATTERNS and STRONGHOLDS

“You are just like your dad/mom?” Have you heard those statements before? Today, I will be focusing on the generational patterns and strongholds that has been passed down to us and our children. It wasn’t until I became a wife and mom that I realized I am so much like my parents and relatives- some traits I didn’t like at all. The Bible says that “parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin. Deut 24:16 What are generational Patterns and strongholds? Generational

6 Biblical characteristics of a Thankful Heart

6 Biblical characteristics of a Thankful Heart

Song of Thankful Heart  “When upon life’s billows you are tempest-tossed, When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost, Count your many blessings, name them one by one, And it will surprise you what the Lord has done. When you look at others with their lands and gold, Think that Christ has promised you His wealth untold; Count your many blessings—money cannot buy Your reward in heaven, nor your home on high.” – Johnson Oatman (1897) It is so easy for my eyes to look at my neighbor’s green pastures, and wish for their blessing. We tend to not have

The Power of choosing that ONE THING over anything else in this world

The Power of choosing that ONE THING over anything else in this world

There are days when I battle with my indecisiveness. Some days you will find me in the store holding two items that have caught my eye, and a big question “which one do I choose out of these two now?”. I can almost hear my husband repeat every single time “Please pick the one thing that you like the most.” As a Christian, we cannot serve both God and man. We should learn to choose what we want in Christ for the rest of our Christian life. There is absolute contentment, healing, and anointing in choosing to seek God over

4 P’s to guard oneself from the sneaky Devil

4 P’s to guard oneself from the sneaky Devil

A recent sneaky behavior from an acquaintance has left me on a rather sad note. It was a group gathering, and I had left my toddlers under someone’s watch while I turned my back to look for something. After I returned, I noticed this person suddenly trying to hide their phone from me. Since I was standing right besides, I noticed it was my children’s picture that was taken  behind my back. Thoughts raced through my mind as to why would this person wanted to hide them from me, or why not share the pictures with me since they are

3 perfumed Scent every woman must adorn for Jesus

3 perfumed Scent every woman must adorn for Jesus

Stench to scent  I remember going to the fish market as a little girl along with my parents in one of my prettiest dress. It was located near the Arabian Sea and the stench of fishes were unbearable after a minute of standing in the market. A pretty attire had no place to be in an area filled with dead stinky fishes. I still recall the smell coming from the fisherwomen selling the fishes, and it was completely different from the scent of Versace or Burberry.  Today, I wonder how is it that my Lord was not ashamed to walk besides

Imitating Jesus with His 3 exemplary qualities

Imitating Jesus with His 3 exemplary qualities

I loved sneaking up behind my uncle and imitating his walk when I was a little girl. Both his hands along with his shoulders would swing and rotate in slow motion as his body moved all the way to the right and then all the way to the left. It was as if he was breaking into a slow dance and I giggled every time he turned around wondering what I am trying to do behind him. Last week, I wrote a very special prayer for every parent <- Click here I pray you will most certainly read it aloud

7 Biblical Strategies a Vigilant Christian must use against Satan

Christian and Satan: Last week, I wrote about the 4 D’s Devil uses against a christian who is not vigilant . Today we are going to focus on 7 strategies that every vigilant Christian must use against Satan. The leopard knew where the baboons rested with their little ones, and stealthily watched them through the day. It used strategies to capture the weakest link and was an expert in climbing the tree as well. Satan wants to instill fear in every Christian that he is stronger than God the Father. Dear friend that is an absolute lie for Jesus defeated Satan at the

4 D’s the devil uses against a Christian who is not vigilant

What happens when not vigilant : Recently, I watched a documentary on a leopard and the hunting tactics it used against a family of baboons. The leopard is known to be the fastest animal, nocturnal, and hunts solitary in the night. The baboons are always together in a group with their young ones, have poor eyesight in the dark and prefer to rest on top of the tree. Whenever the leopard tried to come near the baboons during the daytime, the latter would chase after the leopard together. So, after the baboons retired for the night on top of the tree
