How to speak life with these 10 powerful “I CAN ” proclamations
Forgetting to Speak life :

I woke up this morning with a heavy heart. Some reoccurring bad dreams have been bothering my sleep. The holidays are approaching, and I was reminded I have no family or friends to celebrate together. Sadness often wants to suffocate me, and discouragement wants to befriend up at unexpected times. I often forget to speak life into my sorrowful soul.

As I walked into the kitchen I was welcomed by a pile of unwashed dishes from the previous day. My triplets woke up right after and each of them demanded for my attention. My house was a mess and toys were everywhere. I whispered,” Lord, I cannot do this today, hold my hand”.

The Devil whispered ‘your Lord can’t hear you’ ,suddenly my kids started tugging me. They wanted me to pick up the magnet that fell off the refrigerator and put it back.  I dragged myself and picked the magnet up from the floor. As I glanced over at the words, it began to SPEAK LIFE into my weary soul.

Strengthened

I had memorized this verse at a young age, underlined with highlighters in my Bible. I have read this very verse so many times, but it breathed life in me today.

That is how powerful God’s Word is dear beloved. It speaks life at the exact second we need healing and strength. Many of you are going to nod your head and tell me the same that they have this verse all over their house and heart.

I

CAN

DO

ALL

THINGS

THROUGH

CHRIST

WHO

STRENGTHENS

ME.

The very strength I needed today to do my daily chores, to take care of my toddlers, to manage my household affairs, to speak life over the echoes of my past hurts, to kneel and pray.

This Bible verse strengthened me to write this post so that it can speak  life to someone else today.

HOW TO SPEAK LIFE WITH THESE I CAN STATEMENTS

Can you speak life over your enemy’s voice?

Maybe today you are dreading the upcoming holidays for your own reasons as well. Each day you are reminded by the enemy of what you cannot do and cannot achieve.

Job assignments, pending vacations, flaring joint points, empty womb and empty nest makes you feel you cannot take it anymore.

  • The Devil wants to overwhelm your thoughts, but Jesus wants you to overcome them by His strength.

  • The Devil wants you to run away from the daily responsibilities, but the Lord wants you to abide in Him and be His branch. It is the only way through Christ we can fulfill our roles with joy.

  • The Enemy wants to bring chaos and gloom, but Jesus wants to speak life and give peace

So, my dear sister :

–What is pulling you back from experiencing freedom and joy today?

–Do you find yourself stuck in your life with nowhere to go?

Here are 10 powerful ‘I CAN’ statements from the BIBLE  to declare and speak life:

I can do all things

About Diana

I am a daughter, sister, wife, and mom to my triplets. Each of these God given roles have shaped me to be the woman I am today. My blog is about how I have found God to be alive in me through the lessons I keep on learning each day. Through the storms and songs in the darkest hour I saw God standing with me.
Christianity is not a religion to me but a personal relationship I have with my Creator who so freely gave His life for me .
Dear Friend, I pray that you too will know this Savior who died not only for your SINS but also for all your SORROWS on the Cross. May you be found in HIM.

Philippians 3:14 (KJV) I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

I can do all things through Christ . Amen

  5. Thank you for sharing these amazing truths; I needed these this morning as the enemy is working over time right now, but my God is bigger, and through Christ I can over come this, God bless you. I saw your link this morning at the Modest Monday Link Up.

    1. Jennifer , God is much bigger and stronger than the storms the enemy will try to bring into your life. Trust HIM with His Word and specially these verses that can speak life into your soul.
      Thank you for visiting me

  6. I loved this post, Diana! Voice is my word for the year, and I have thought a lot about speaking life to others but not really considered speaking it to my own soul like this. I love all the verses you highlight but I think numbers 3 and 9 are particularly relevant for me right now. Thanks for sharing this!

    1. Lesley, I am so glad to hear that “voice” was your word for this year. But isn’t it the best when the Lord reminds you that you should speak life into your own life as well?
      Praise God for that.
      Blessings

  7. Dear Diana, I pray that as you immersed yourself in God’s word to gather these encouraging Scriptures that you were encouraged also. I believe one of the times the Lord is closest to us is when we use our pain to minister to others. Prayers that God will open doors to new relationships.

  8. I can do all things through Christ Jesus that gives me strength is my all time favorite verse. Needed to hear that this morning as i sit in standstill traffic due to an accident. I choose to focus on God

    1. Prescott, these traffics in our lives can literally stop us during the rush hours of our day. It is at that point God’s Word consoles and soothes us. Philippians 4:13 is definitely one of my favorite verses as well

  9. I NEEDED EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE VERSES! Thank you so much for allowing God to use you. I get so overwhelmed from constantly pouring out on my blog, on my social media, and in my women’s ministry group but never being poured in to or get discouraged when God is trying to uproot things in me that he needs to be gone in order to grow me and prepare me for more ministry and the enemy is constantly preying on me throughout the whole process and trying to overwhelm my heart and cause disbelief in God in more way than one. Thank you for this.

    1. Reatta, your comment was so encouraging for me. It is so important to be filled first before we pour out to others. Let us continue to fill our lives with His Promises, and Word so that even the Devil will tremble
Blessings and much prayers as you continue to glorify God

  10. Such a great list of “I can”s. Proverbs 3:5-6 is a comfort to me, knowing that I don’t have to depend on my own knowledge; but when I give God all the credit, He will direct me. “I can” because He does.

  11. These are so great! There is such power in speaking the word over our lives! Thank you for your heart to share His affirmations with us!

  12. Indeed! Life and death lies in the power of our tongues. A needed reminder that God provides all we need in His word for all situations that we may come upon. Thanks for sharing!

    1. Mary, sister in Christ, I am so humbled and glad to hear that you loved this post. Thank you so much for featuring it at the #LMML link up this week
