Ever had an exhaustive, overburnt week where work load never seemed to have an end, or deteriorating health get in the way of your daily activities? Do these exhaustion prevent you from soaring high , and bring  you down ?

I have had several of them, but this week was rough in particular. Mentally, emotionally, and physically I felt overwhelmed and drained out. I wished oh so deeply to share my woes with someone ,to lighten my burdens, and to find encouragement.

Exhausted,I sat on the kitchen floor and suddenly I heard a whisper in my ear “ Diana, you can SOAR high with wings like eagles.”

Suddenly ,I recalled one of the verses I had memorized as a teenager, and I got up to read it.

Oh what an encouraging verse it was indeed.

Isaiah 40:31

…but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

The Miriam Webster Dictionary defines SOAR as :

 ”1. To fly high

  2. To ascend to a higher or more exalted level”

Eagles travel light and can SOAR high up in the sky. They do not fly with lots of heavy baggage on their back. Whether you are a hiker ,a camper,or travelling by air with toddlers – it is always important to travel light, otherwise the journey will turn out to be an exhaustive one.

Four lessons to remember as you soar high like an eagle

I would like to leave you with four important lessons as you SOAR High whenever you find yourself burdened and overwhelmed:

1.Do not let the pressures of life get you down, but let it teach you to wait upon the Lord.

2.Do not let the broken past break you down, but instead let you restore your unfaltering hope in the Lord

3.Do not let the reminders of forgiven sins weigh you down, but instead let it remind you to spread your wings breaking every grip of gravity, and SOAR above.

4.Do not let the tragedies in life bring out the hopeless you., but give you strength to face the storm as you ascend towards the SON of GOD.

My Friend, as you wait upon the Lord I pray that your strength will be renewed , and you’ll be able to SOAR on wings like the eagles who ascend towards the SUN.

Until we meet again here,

Soaring High

About Diana

I am a daughter, sister, wife, and mom to my triplets. Each of these God given roles have shaped me to be the woman I am today. My blog is about how I have found God to be alive in me through the lessons I keep on learning each day. Through the storms and songs in the darkest hour I saw God standing with me.
Christianity is not a religion to me but a personal relationship I have with my Creator who so freely gave His life for me .
Dear Friend, I pray that you too will know this Savior who died not only for your SINS but also for all your SORROWS on the Cross. May you be found in HIM.

Philippians 3:14 (KJV) I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
