2016 is coming to an end in less than 9 days. In the beginning of the year itself each one of us planned great goals for ourselves and for our families like job, marriage, new home, child, vacation, going back to school ,or start a new business.
I have known this one particular woman my whole life. I know how she struggles in lot of the areas in her life. She does not see herself adequate in the things she wants to do and have accomplished, worries and stresses out easily.
Who doesn’t have a sweet tooth? One of my favorite stores to visit is the bakery near my house. I will take a walk to that bakery even if its scorching heat, snowing ,or raining heavy outside to make sure I can grab my favorite treat. So, as I glance through all the assortment of sweet, my eyes pause and gleam at the Raspberry and white chocolate Scone up on the shelf.
One of my favorite classroom memories as a teenager was when my Math teacher would ask me to help erase the black board. The board/slate would look clean once again ready for the next lesson to be taught. Have you wished for a DO OVER in life? A CLEAN SLATE? I know I have often wished that all the nightmares, bad experiences ,and especially my poor choices were erasable like a slate so that I could start all over again.
This picture was taken when my husband and I visited Kerala, India also known as God’s Own Country. The place was filled with the nature’s aroma, serenity, and was absolutely breathtaking. A deep longing to see my folks fills my heart today. It has been five years since I got to sit and joke around with my sisters, hold my precious new niece, or spend time with my parents and grandparents.
