And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: (Colossians 2:10,KJV) The ambitious standards and checklists put forth by man can often turn out to be very depressing when one fails to meet them. We end up feeling incomplete and forget our real identity in Christ. Complete through the union in Christ Every man is born in sin, and is depraved of any goodness in him until he seeks and secures his salvation through Christ. This union with Christ is what makes each of us complete IN HIM. Today, we are filled, complete,
Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and light unto my path. Psalm 119:105(KJV) One of the first verses I rote memorized as a little child was Psalm 119:105. I had no idea what it meant at that time but till today I can say this verse with my eyes closed.
3 John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. I have loved being around children all my life, and I didn’t wait to be a biological mama to show my love. It started off by helping young moms with their little ones during church gatherings or home visits as a ten-year-old, to teaching Sunday School, co-helping at VBS, and being an AWANA leader as an adult for over a decade. One doesn’t have to be a biological MOM to be called a MAMA if our mothering involves lots of prayers, encouragements, discipleship,
Psalm 147:3 – He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds (KJV) When I tried to carry all my bags on my lap: I loved travelling by trains growing up in India, especially the two – day train trips my family did during our summer holidays . There were no rules on how many baggage we could carry with us. I remember packing my little bag and stuffing it with my clothes, books, toys, and snacks. As I hopped onto the train, I decided to hold onto my heavy bag despite my parents asking me to put
Memory of scars: Ever had to deal with scars that reminded you of sad times? I have two big scars on my face, and couple on my body from my childhood. The one on my forehead is from the Chicken pox I got on my 4th birthday and had to be in a room away from everyone to prevent spreading it to others. The other scar is on the palm of my right hand when I tripped and fell onto a sharp rock during a vacation. I bled a lot and needed several stitches. Our scars they come in all sizes and shapes
He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; He gently leads those that have young. Isaiah 40:11
‘Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ Isaiah 41:10 (NASB) Have you experienced a life changing event that rocked your world upside down?
Have you had a deep, and personal relationship with God? A relationship that came about because of your desperate need for Him in your life through your personal tragedies, and realized God’s genuine and agape love for you above all? A personal encounter with Jesus Christ leads to a strengthened and intimate relationship with Him. My Encounter with Christ I grew up right next to the Church where I could step out from my mom’s kitchen door right to the backside of the Church building. I attended every Sister’s Meeting, Bible Study, Worship, Sunday School, and Prayer Meeting whether I
